Guardian Angel Basset Rescue is an organization that rescues abandoned/abused/stray Basset Hounds. This year marks the 12th year Guardian Angel has participated in the Harvest Days Parade held in Dwight, IL, on the third Sunday of September. People and their Basset Hounds come from all over the country to join in the festivities and/or adopt a Basset Hound that is ready to find its "forever home" Thanks to this great organization, we adopted Hobo in 2005. His story, he was found wanderng around in Indiana around some railroad tracks. Guardian Angel Basset Rescue has been very successful
in finding homes for over 300 Basset Hounds this year alone. We first heard of this organization thanks to Bob Jacobs who did a story on this when he adopted two Bassets.
