Planting a prairie

Over 50 volunteers braved a windy Saturday to help reclaim a large prairie area at Jubilee State Park. Boy Scouts, students from Mid -Illini School, local runners from the Illinois Valley Striders, Caterpillar Young Professionals and park volunteers planted over 2,000 prairie plants .
