There are so many interesting things to do near home and be able to save on gas. The downtown riverfront is beautiful, so go take a ride on the Spirit of Poria. Banner Marsh always has interesting wildlife to watch. I have been following a swan family this summer and watching them grow. Nearby Indiana has the opportunity to learn about the Amish culture and see their beautiful farms. Happy travels.
