Wikoff agrees to Astros contract

Brandon Wikoff plays baseball fast. He throws fast. He runs fast. He negogiates fast. Just one day after being drafted by the Houston Astros, Wikoff has agreed to a contract to join the Astros.

The deal ends Wikoff's college career at the University of Illinois. "It's hard to leave Illinois, but this is my boyhood dream," said Wikoff. Brandon expects to begin his pro career playing in the New York-Penn Rookie League.
