Limestone's Seth Schwindenhammer received a $175,000 bonus to sign with the Boston Red Sox. He was drafted in the 5th round (168th overall).

No long, drawn out contract negotiations for Seth Schwindenhammer. Just four days after he was drafted by Boston the Limestone High School slugger signed Sunday with the Red Sox.

Schwindenhammer receives a $175,000 signing bonus after he was selected in the 5th rond (168th overall) in Tuesday's first-year player draft. He'll report early this week to Boston's rookie league team in Ft. Myers, Florida.

Schwindenhammer hit 15 homers for Limestone this season and also owns the school's career record of 29.
