14-year-old Hannah Grow of Morton and her friend, 12-year-old Marissa Weber of Wisconsin love sports. But their favorite sport is canoeing. The two are true pioneer paddlers as next month they will become the youngest entries ever in the world's longest paddling race, the MR340.

The MR340 is a 340 mile non-stop canoe race down the Missouri River. Entries have 88 hours to try to finish the race. Hannah and Marissa had to get special permission to enter the race and they are confident they will finish the race.

Besides the challenge of the grueling race, the girls are motivated by raising money for the Susan G. Komen Foundation and the fight against breast cancer. Marissa's mother is a breast cancer survivor. The girls goal is to raise $10,000 through race sponsors and donations.
