Last night we looked at the quality of food at O'Brien Field and the Civic Center. Tonight we see how some of the sports venues in the Twin Cities fared.

In The Corn Crib's most recent health department inspection on July 22nd sixty percent of their concession stands had a critical violation. Doors were being left open while food was prepared.

Robert Brown, the head of the food service at the Corn Crib, says that all violations were corrected immediately.

Down the street the U.S. Cellular Coliseum had numerous critical violations during their inspection in April, including mold growth in a container of dressing in the walk-in, food at improper temperatures and fruit flies in a sink at the bar.

When inspected again on May 14th, only one critical violation was found.

In an email the food and beverage director at the Coliseum told us "It is our objective to be in compliance with every code there is and to ensure the safety of all our customers and employees."
