The Peoria Police Department says its shooting task force has reduced Peoria's shootings by 25 percent.
A map shows the city's hot spots- where the majority of the shootings were occurring two weeks ago, and they have shifted after 14 days of the task force.
Police also say they have made 135 arrests and nearly 700 traffic stops.
In the last two weeks they have also confiscated 38 grams of controlled substances and 255 grams of cannabis.
