One of the city's oldest commercial buildings has been re-purposed and is now officially open to visitors.
The Peoria Area Convention and Visitors Bureau cut the ribbon on its news visitors center along Peoria's riverfront.
Over 100 volunteers will run the visitors center 7 days a week to help visitors and residents understand all the city has to offer.
The center is also home to World on Wheels, a segway and bicycle tour business.
The goal is to encourage visitors to take the time to enjoy the riverfront and downtown area in a new way.
