Schuyler County Sheriff Don Schieferdecker says a missing man has been found, safe and alive.
Schieferdecker says 63-year old Edwin C Miller who walked away from his rural home near Browning, IL last Sunday night was located late Thursday night.
Miller was found at Iowa 80 truck stop in Walcott, Iowa.
The Sheriff spoke to Miller by phone. Miller was picked up by his son and taken to his son's home in Michigan.
Sheriff Schieferdecker thanked the media for getting the story out as he feels the news media made a huge contribution to locating this man.
