Bradley University has announced the school's decision concerning three current and former soccer team members' academic futures.
David Crady, Ryan Johnson and Nicholas Mentgen are accused of setting off fireworks in a room of their apartment that started a fire killing roommate Dan Dahlquist.
In a release, the University said it "is following its published policies and procedures that have permitted David Crady, Ryan Johnson, and Nicholas Mentgen to enroll for the 2007 fall semester. Students enrolled at the University are subject to all provisions of the Bradley University 2007-08 Student Handbook, including the 'Standards of Conduct' and other related procedures contained therein. In accordance with federal law, the University does not and will not comment on the educational record of any student."
Johnson announced last week he is resigning from the Bradley men's soccer team. Crady and Mentgen will "remain for an indefinite period as inactive members of the intercollegiate athletic program concerning all athletically-related activities."
ICC student Daniel Cox is the fourth person charged in the case.
