You better watch out, you better not cry, you better not pout, because Santa Claus is rolling into town.
After spending last weekend in the big cities like Peoria, East Peoria and Pekin, we spotted the jolly old elf himself in Glasford today.
He also rolled in, not on a sleigh, but a train.
He made several stops along Pioneer Railcorp's subsidiary Keokuk Junction railway company line that ends in Cuba, Illinois.
At each of the six stops, Santa visited with girls and boys in his holiday caboose.
An expected 1,000 kids turned out to see Saint Nick... even some adults felt the Christmas Magic.
"Oh, the kids are so excited when they see santa and hear the horns of the train," said Meghan Peterson of Pioneer Railcorp. "It's such a great experience, it makes everybody feel like a kids... even though you're an adult too. I'm excited when the train comes through."
This was the second year for the Santa train tour.
Our own Bob Jacobs rode the entire route with Santa.
On Christmas day, we'll take a look at their trip in Bob's Postcard from home.
