Holiday Travel is No Problem at Peoria Airport

By WEEK Producer

During the holidays, more people than usual are traveling.

However, everything at the Peoria airport has been running smoothly.

The majority of flights this Thanksgiving weekend at the Peoria International Airport have been on time.

Though air traffic increases slightly during the holidays, there have been no major delays or cancellations.

The extra air traffic may have also been due to the Bradley University Basketball game in Las Vegas Saturday.

According to an airport spokesperson, air traffic typically increases 10 to 15 percent during the holiday season.
