One Dead in Kewanee Plane Crash

One person is dead after a plane crashed just outside Kewanee Monday evening.
Illinois State Police says three people were aboard the single engine plane when it went down in a cornfield shortly after takeoff from the Kewanee Municipal Airport.
All three passengers were taken to Kewanee hospital.
The female passenger was pronounced dead at the hospital. The male pilot is being treated for minor injuries, and a juvenile was treated and released.
The names are being withheld for now and the FAA is investigating the crash.
