The victim of Thursday's house fire in Peoria may have died from health issues... not the fire.

The Peoria County Coroner says preliminary autopsy results show 55 year old Terry Stewart died from lung disease... emphysema.

Peoria firefighters were called to 2408 Monroe Street shortly after six a-m Thursday morning.

It is reported that Stewart's son visited his father the night before... and received a phone call from Stewart about 2 hours before the 911 call was made.

Firefighters did find a home oxygen tank in the living room, where the fire was burning, this morning.

The Peoria County Coroner says toxicology tests are pending to see if Stewart inhaled any fire particles.
