I had an Iud and it slipped out of place causing me to get pregnant with not just one but 2 babies one of which ended up being eptopic and caused me to lose both babies then I went on the pill and concieved again and yes I took it at the same time everyday no birth control is 100% effective which is why since I know I am done I am getting my tubes tied in Jan.

I believe you aren't seeing both sides of that story.Women like me have to take birth control pills, because of the severe cripling cramps and fevers, which come with menstration. Thus it stops the woman froming having a menstration.Hense the reason no pain nor fevers.Don't say they could get a hystorectomy, because some women like me their insurance would rather put them on birth control instead paying for the surgery.Remember this " Hate the sin.Not the sinner."

Hey here is a freakin novel idea: DON'T HAVE SEX UNLESS YOU WANT A KID!!!! If people didn't have morals of a dog in heat we wouldn't need birth control pills in the first place.

Good work LOL. That's some funny stuff. By the forces of nature, we have sex for pleasure and intimacy. By choice, some have sex for reproduction only. Morality and reality are commonly mistaken for one another.

You managed to cherry pick one line and did not bother to read more and educate yourself. http://www.cancer.org/docroot/NWS/content/NWS_1_1x_Cervical_Cancer_Linked_To_Birth_Control_Pills.asp

The best pills are aspirin. Place two aspirins between the thighs and squeeze tightly so they don't fall out.

Didn't anyone read the Journal Star forumin early October. Did you know International Agency of Research on Cancer, an arm of the World Health Organization, released a report classifying combined oral contraceptives as Group I carcinogens. Group I classification denotes proven carcinogenicity in humans, and oral contraceptives received the same ranking as asbestos. If asbestos is banned in schools, why are Drs prescribing the pill?

I have a copper IUD, and I swear by it too. NO HORMONES! It also is good for years at a time. When properly implanted, you don't feel a thing other than the implantation and removal. If you're the type that doesn't want her period then then IUDs are not the answer, but I personally enjoy the 'time off'... lol

The pill did not work for me because I could always remember to take it. Also, it made me very nauseous. I have had an IUD since my son was 6 weeks old and I swear by it.
