Details of Gee Family Murders Released

The Logan County grand jury has indicted the two Harris brothers on multiple murder counts and has added attempted sexual assault, burglary and armed robbery to the charges against them.

According to the Grand Jury indictments unveiled Wednesday, Rick and Ruth Gee of Beason and three of their children were killed with a tire iron, and sixteen year old Justina Constant –daughter of Ruth Gee –was the target for an attempted sexual assault by Christopher Harris.

The two brothers appeared separately in Logan County court to answer the charges against them and each pleaded not guilty.

Both men could face the death penalty if convicted. The Logan County State's Attorney has not indicated if he'll seek the maximum penalty.

At the very minimum, Christopher and Jason Harris faces twenty years in prison if convicted of murder.

I'm glad this didn't happen in Peoria or the wimp of a States Attorney would not even try to get the death penalty. I agree they should have the same treatment done to them that they applied to the Gee family. Nicole you are a poor excuse for a family member to even believe that they were innocent what a bunch of BS. I also agree that two scum bags could over power a whole family something doesn't add up. I am sorry you can see him in the long sleeved pullover shirt in www.sj-r.com in today's news and there is a picture of him wearimg a long sleeved red one a couple of weeks ago in the Pantagraph.I am sure he is covering his tattoos.But someone should check him for recent scars from being scratched or bitten.He would have healed by now,but the scars would be there.I still have my doubts that the Harris Boys did this.

The last moments of those poor children's lives. Likely watching their parents beaten to death then turned on them one by one. I cant even bear to think of what was going on in those kids heads in those terrifying last moments. i hope that justice is served.

Nicole is the older sister of the poor kids that were murdered and she is also the X-wife of Christopher Harris! I believe she is just as guilty in this as the brothers Jason and Christopher. What a sad sad ordeal and these people involved need to pay the DEATH PENALTY is not even harsh enough for what they did..
