The body of a missing Mason City man has been found, not far from his home. According to family members, the body of 27-year-old Dustin Englebrecht was found in a shallow grave, wrapped in a blanket, on the family farm.

Englebrecht was last seen alive on Friday morning, August 29th, when his fiancée left to go to work. He was reported missing after he failed to pick up his 9-year-old son, Zeke, after school.

The family had put up flyers and search parties had looked through the area without success. According to a family member, Dustin Englebrecht's body was found about 6 Monday evening behind a barn about 100-yards from his rural Mason County home. A relative found the body while mowing on the property Monday afternoon.

The Mason County Sheriff's office and the Coroner's office have sealed the road outside the home and have made no comments on reports of the body being found.
