When you think of a library, 'quiet, study time' comes to mind.

But at Bradley University, the library has a hot, new feature that administrators are shouting about.

A new Starbuck's coffee shop has opened in the Cullom–Davis Library on the Bradley campus.

The 40–seat cafe replaces a former lounge and vending area.

Bradley officials say the new Starbucks provides a convenient place for students to study and get a quality 'pick me up.'

There is already a Starbucks near the University in the Campustown complex, but students say, the more the merrier.

BU senior Amanda Seguin says, "I think it's a benefit here because instead of walking all the way across campus to that Starbucks, you can just stay at the library and get something here. And if you're off campus and want to hang out, you can go to the one in campustown."

Barabara Galik, the executive director of the Cullom Davis Library says, "We've loosened up a bit on the food policy. You can bring covered cups in this area. There's a food and drink policy that we give people when we see them. You can't eat or drink near on at a computer. Other than that, you can, because we've loosened up the policy."

The Starbucks in the Bradley Library will be open from 10am until midnight, everyday.
