The weather should be great for the biggest little rodeo in the world.

That's what the residents in New Windsor, Illinois call their 3–day event.
This is the 70th year for the rodeo and horse show.

It kicked off with a parade Thursday evening and the first night of rodeo events.

" We think we have between 15 to 20 thousand people in the 3 days in a town of 700. We have lots of cowboys this year so you're going to have a good time," said Larry Streeter with the rodeo association.

Rodeo action begins Friday and Saturday at 7:30 p.m.

Lots of activities all day Saturday, 10–dollar admission fee with kids 12 and under free.
New Windsor is about 20–miles north of Galesburg.
