Five days and counting until the St. Jude telethon here on WEEK and our sister station WHOI.

A new member of the "Run for St. Jude" is Peoria County Coroner Johnna Ingersoll.
She is raising money for child–cancer research in honor of Austin and Haley Carter.
Ingersoll is a long time friend of the twin city family.
As of today, the coroner has a new henna–tattoo to honor the brother and sister each afflicted with bone–cancer.

"I have never before had a tattoo and this will be a temporary tattoo lasting about two to three weeks. I thought that would be a way to carry Austin and Haley with me during the run," said Ingersoll while a tattoo artist put an image of the siblings on her leg.

Ingersoll is looking for donation for her run from Memphis to Peoria. You can contact Johnna personally or mail a contribution to:
Saint Jude Office.
4722 North Sheridan Road
Peoria, IL 61614

Johnna is running with Lee Hall's group, which leaves tomorrow to drive to Memphis for the trek back... to kick off the telethon Saturday night at 6:30.
