By WEEK Producer

For people looking to the sky in downtown Peoria Friday evening, there was a free preview of the action taking place at the General Wayne Downing Airport this weekend.
Acrobatic pilots from the Prairie Air show were on hand to do some stunting over the Illinois River Friday.
The aerial displays at the airport start Saturday and Sunday morning at 11.

Wow, I'm not to surprised I guess by the negative responses above. Your foundation isn't getting ruined by a low level fly by. Complaints like that is how tax payers money gets wasted on bailing out the military on stupid complaints like that. Oh my, my cows won't mate anymore either.

It's nice to see that the Peoria police department will be blocking off Smithville Road from 1:30 to 3:45. Prohibiting people that live on the road from coming or going. It's nice when no one informs you of this untill you contact the police department cause you cant get to your home a quarter mile away from the road block. Call the Peoria police department and see what they say about it. Telling a person they will have to leave two hours early just so they can even get to work. Way to go Peoria
