Governor Pat Quinn met with women legislators in Chicago Thursday, trying to boost support for his proposed income tax hike.

The Governor hinted that he's planning to cut some legislator's favorite projects in an attempt to get their attention.

"There are some actions I've got to take in the next couple of days which will show where we're coming from in Illinois," said Gov. Quinn.

Quinn wouldn't get specific about what agencies or programs he's planning to target.

Lets cut some legislators favorite projects so we get their attention. Wow, that borders on criminal behavior. Govenor quite wasting taxpayer dollars in traveling around the State in trying to get support for YOUR idea. Grow-p get back to Springfield and listen to the taxpayers representatives. No New Taxes!!!! What is it about those words that you don't understand??? Seems like you could use a life coach.
