Another baby has died in Peoria.
The Peoria County Coroner says 3 month old Zoey Adams was pronounced dead just after five this morning at her residents.
The girl lived at 112 Cross Street in Peoria.
Johnna Ingersoll says the little girl was co–sleeping with her mother, Tammy Adams.
An autopsy is scheduled for today.
Ingersol says the enfant was found unresponsive by her mother.
Yesterday, 29-day old Glen N. Cheney died while co-sleeping with his mother in Peoria.

I second Little Red's comment. It is terrible that a WEEK producer can't manage to use spell check or have an editor check the grammar or spelling before posting a story. Enfant? How about infant. Residents? How about residence. Very, very irritating. None the less, a horrible tragedy. My heart goes out to all effected by these deaths.

And for the record..I have a baby and I use a crib. I personally don't want to sleep with my child in my bed but I'm not going to judge someone else for doing it. It is obviously not a crime because you don't see anyone getting charged with anything for it do you? My heart goes out to the families of Glen and Zoey.

I can't believe how completely rude some of you people are!!!! Did the article say that the parent woke up cause they rolled over on the baby and that's how they died..NO! Get over it, some people sleep with their children in their bed and it has happened for years and years and years. Don't blame these poor mothers who already have to deal with heartache and utter pain of losing their children. Would you have said a word if they were in their crib and the same thing happened? NO

Stop sleeping with your babies! What part of that sentence is hard to understand? For those of you who keep pushing the co-sleeping; you need to wake up and quit spewing your uninformed viewpoints. They make baby cribs for a reason!

What has happened to caring and compassion? These two women have lost a child. Don't judge them until you have walked in their shoes. I'm sure as parents we all can say that we have made some mistakes. Children don't come with instructions. Have a heart people. Maybe these young mothers may have been helped by taking a parenting class?

To see another of these deaths are just too much for anyone. What hurts the most is not only the untimely death of an infant but the fact our society always blames the "Mother" for everything in a childs life whether it is death or other issues. We need to stop blaming start loving and help all Mothers raise their children. By the way where was the Father of this child in the first place. Why wasn't he watching over his family? My heart, prayers goes out to this Mother and may God heal her.

You know what my cousin died in a crib...from sids. This is not the parents fault...these things happen more often than you think. Might not have had anything to do w/ where they were laying...get over yourselves people. You all need Jesus.

There are more babies dying in cribs than co-sleeping. Please do not judge my family. Tammie is a wonderful mother and would never do anything to harm any of her children. People who are leaving these nasty, negative comments must have never lost a loved one. There are always 2 sides to every story. Please just keep our family in your prayers through this terrible tragedy.

The cause of death has not been revealed. My sister was a very good mother and no one new her or her curcumstances. Do not judge her. All my children slept with me as infants, and it is not because I was lazy, it was because I wanted them close. More children die in cribs than in bed with there parents. I know I have lost a sister to Sids and she was in her CRIB!!!

It's interesting that the cosleeping deaths appear in the news, but the crib deaths don't?? Media bias perhaps?? Also, read the articles (from the past) it wasn't the cosleeping itself that "caused" a death.

I am so sad for this family. HOwever cosleeping did not CAUSE the death SIDS most likely did. It is a horrible and unfortunate situation that cosleepers and cribsleepers have had to deal with. Plus, remember SIDS isn't called CRIB DEATH for nothing. We will see if there was more involved at a later date I am sure. This article says baby died WHILE not BECAUSE OF cosleeping.

if you can't read the paper and see how many children die from this you shouldn't be a parent!!! wake up mom's out there your not doing the infant any good. only making yourself feel better by having the baby close 2 you. instead look at the results. WAKE UP DONT SLEEP WITH YOUR BABY!! LORD HOW STUPID

My heart goes out to both familys. I often slept with both of my infant children in bed as I would fall asleep breastfeeding. Sometimes I would just leave them in bed with me because I was so exhausted. Don't judge someone this could have not been there fault. Think before you speak.

why in 2 days think ahead of time if you cant handle your baby then you dont need to be a parent there is alot of foster parents who would love to take in the baby if you cant use a crib or bassinet for the baby.

2 in 2 days!!! How many does this make this year? Will people never learn how many times do they have read this in the paper or see it on TV. Put the baby in a crib a bassinet not in an adult bed with or without an adult.

Until the cause of death is confirmed, no one should judge. So many articles of late on people that out & out murdered their children, I pray these moms were just trying to stay close and comfort them and a tragedy occurred. My prayers to all involved..

Do these parents not read the news? seriously. Think this is at least the 10th baby this year in the Peoria area that died while sleeping with the parents.

ah yes, lets put the children in cages and segregate them from their parents. That is a great idea. NOT. Peace to the families. Did any of the uniformed of you out there even think that there can be other causes to the deaths? Seriously people.

I don't beleive people have the baby sleep in their bed b/c they don't want to get up. ALl the parents I know have done it b/c that is the only way their baby will sleep..is with the parent being next to them. While some think it is not safe, some parents want their children to sleep. There is actually specials things they sell to prop the baby properly for this purpose so the parent does not roll over & so the baby is in the correct sleeping position. My condolences with the families.

I agree, have some sympathy for these parents. I have slept with both of my babies before, it is easy to do when they are newborns and are getting up every 2 to 3 hours it is very exhausting. I have even fell asleep holding my baby while feeding thank the lord I never dropped one of them. It must have been males who wrote all of these nasty comments!!!!

Thursday, Jul 2 at 12:52 PM Theresa` wrote ...

This is exactly why you DO NOT co-sleep with your baby, babies belong in cribs not in bed with parents. Having them sleep in cribs or bassinetts will solve this problem.
