District 150 Gets New Comptroller-Treasurer

District 150 has a new comptroller and treasurer and she comes from the Chicago area.
Pam Schau (SHAW) has worked in education for 26 years.

She was most recently the Assistant Superintendent of Business from a school district outside of Chicago.

Schau says she accepted the job fully aware of District 150s financial troubles.

"I love challenges and the opportunities that come with those challenges and I would like to believe that some of my skills are in communications. I've often been told I'm not necessarily the number cruncher- bean counter, so I look forward to adding that to some of the communications."

Schau will officially begin working next Monday.
She takes over from Guy Cahill whose contract was terminated several months ago.
