A Peoria community health center is getting some help from the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act.

Heartland Community Health Center will receive more than 600–thousand dollars in stimulus money.

The money is for construction, repair or renovation of the center.
It can also be used to purchase new health computer software and an electronic health records system.

This is the third set of health center grants provided through the Recovery Act.
