Swine Flu Case Confirmed in Tazewell County

The Tazewell County Health Department says it has its first confirmed case of the H1N1 flu.

Officials say an adult under the age of 40 has tested positive for the flu this week. The individual did receive medical treatment and is now recuperating at home.

The health department reminds us about flu prevention tips:
Clean your hands regularly
Cover your cough and sneeze
And contain your germs – if you are sick stay home.
