Danvers Woman Dies in Head-on Crash

The McLean County Coroners Office reports how a Danvers woman died this weekend in a two–car collision.

Coroner Beth Kimmerling says Doris Kaufman died of multiple injuries from the incident. Kaufman suffered from serious injuries to her chest and abdomen.

Kaufman was one of the passengers in a van traveling on 1100 North Sanford Covell Road in McLean County.

While traveling, the van was struck by a pick–up truck in a head–on collision.

Doris Kaufman was 91 years old.
