Mother Nature has turned on the A/C, but after last week's heat, we know this cool weather won't last. So when stifling summer conditions return, one organization wants to help residents keep cool.

The Salvation Army of McLean County is accepting monetary donations and new fans to distribute to community members without air conditioning.

Seniors, those with respiratory conditions and families with children under the age of three will receive priority. Distribution begins July 15th.

Donations will be accepted at the Corps Community Center located on Washington Street in Bloomington.
