A two-vehicle accident took the life of a rural Danvers woman and injured other passengers.

The McLean County Coroner says 91-year-old Doris Kaufman died when the van she was traveling in was struck by a pick up truck in a head-on collision.

The accident occurred near 11-hundred North Stanford-Covell Road just after 8-thirty last night.

Remaining passengers in both vehicles were taken to local hospitals.
The McLean County Sheriff's Department is investigating the crash.
Kaufman's autopsy is scheduled for tomorrow.
