According to the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, there was a 180% increase in cosmetic surgery procedures performed on teenagers from 2003 to 2008. You have probably heard of teenage girls getting breast implants as a graduation present, but you will be surprised how many different procedures young kids are undergoing. I am a parent,but my child is a 22yr old son.If he ever asked me for cosmatic surgery.I would say no.Because teenagers need to know that they aren't done with growing and that those things they want changed will happen in time.I would never have the thought of agreeing putting any foregin body in my child just to improve his image.To those parents who agree to this.Stop being their friends and be their parent.

sure its scary that teens are having plastic surgery. my question is - who is paying for it? these procedures arent cheap and every teen i know is broke. vain parents are just as guilty as vain tennagers in this matter.
