Cooling Centers Open to Beat the Heat

If you need a place to cool off – the following cool centers are open.

In Peoria, the Department of Human Services office on Northeast Adams is open from 8:30 in the morning until five in the evening.

Bloomington's DHS office is also open. That's located at 501 W. Washington Street from 8:30–to–five.

And in Pekin you can cool off at city hall on Capital Street of at the city's service center on Koch Street. Both are open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
