Pekin Fire Suspicious

By WEEK Producer

Investigators say an overnight fire at a Pekin business looks suspicious.

Firefighters were called to the office of Uselton Oil Company on Derby Street shortly after two o'clock this morning.

They arrived to find heavy smoke and fire in the office area of the building and quickly put out the flames.

Investigators from the Pekin Police and Fire Departments along with the State Fire Marshall's Office are working to determine how the fire started.

No one was injured, but the fire has closed the office for now.
