There's more bad news for Caterpillar workers in Pontiac.

Union officials say about 66 employees may be laid off at Caterpillar's Pontiac plant this month, bringing the total number of layoffs at the facility to an estimated 350 since last fall.

CAT says company officials recently told employees to expect layoffs between this Friday and June 19.

A spokesman from the UAW 2096, which represents Pontiac workers, says the union has not received a list of who will be laid off and does not know whether the number reflects only union workers.

About 400 union workers are currently employed at the plant, down from about 750 last fall.
