You Could Win a Dream Home

Here’s a chance to own a new house and help children with cancer.

You can do both by participating in the St. Jude Dream Home Giveaway.

It could make a dream come true for the winner of this house located at 11703 Dunmore Drive in the Waterford Place Subdivision in Dunlap.

"Four bedroom, two and a half bathes, 2480 square feet," said Bob Brady with Brday Homes.

"Welcome to the 2009 Saint Jude Dream Home. The two story home is brick with vinyl siding."

The 300 thousand dollar house was built by Brady Homes.

"Tile floors, wood floors, big kitchen it's a nice house in a developed neighborhood. It will have a full landscape on it as well," said Jim Hayes, Director of New Construction.

"The kitchen is very nice. It has lots of area and a lot of cabinet space and an island in the center."

For 100 dollars you can win this big beautiful house. You're giving to a great cause. Saint Jude.

Money from the ticket sales go to the Saint Jude Children's Research hospital, where 30 years ago, there wasn't much hope for children with cancer.

"Now they are finishing high school, college, getting married, getting into professions. Having children of their own. All because of places like this dream home," said Jim Maloof with St. Jude.

"Upstairs you find a spacious master bedroom featuring cathedral ceiling peaks. As well as over a seven foot deep master walk in closet with shelving and a window."

"When you look at what we do here, this is the easy part, considering what the families of St. Jude Hospital and the children are going through and fighting with," said Brady.

"To see what a builder like Brady does, brings in all these subcontractors who not only provide materials and services free of charge, it's not only a dream home, it's a dream story," said Maloof.

A story that ends with someone owning a brand new house and money that will help researchers someday find a cure for childhood cancer.

Dream Home Tickets are 100 dollars and are on sale through June 24th.

You can get tickets at Peoria County locations:
Jim Maloof/Realtor, Kroger, South Side Banks.

There are also open houses taking place as well.
The home is at 11703 North Dunmore in the Waterford Place Subdivision.

They are every Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and every Sunday 12 noon until 5 p.m. through June 28.
