Flooding is causing quite a mess down in Beardstown.
35–foot high levees and floodwalls are keeping most of the water out, but seepwater is still managing to find its way in, stopping little leaguers from playing this weekend.
The Beardstown Marina is usually shallow, but its off limits now, because the road to it, is submerged 10 feet under water.
Despite the water, city officials in Beardstown are more worried about the damage after the water recedes.
