MEG Agents Make Arrests in Peoria; Wataga

MEG agents arrest one person in Peoria and three in Knox County on drug charges.

On Tuesday, agents arrested Alton D. Stennis in Peoria on marijuana charges.

Agents say they seized nearly he had nearly $22–thousand worth of marijuana in his Willow Knolls apartment.

On Monday agents arrested Courvoiera Rice, Major M. Lemon and Jamie R. Tucker on cocaine possession. Police seized more than 24–hundred dollars of cocaine and 11–hundred dollars cash at an apartment in Wataga, Illinois.

All three of those suspects were transported to the Knox County Jail.

We sure can't afford to pay for all the cops and people in jail anymore. Ending prohibition got rid of the alcohol fueled mobsters of the 20's. I bet it would get rid of the drug cartels today.
