Planning for the Flood

By WEEK Reporter
By Denise Jackson

The Peoria Red Cross plans to provide support for residents and business owners impacted along the flood bank.
Red Cross Volunteers surveyed areas in Chillicothe and Rome today to see what impact the flood is beginning to have on residents.

"We're in the business of taking care of people at the time of a disaster and we always want to be a step ahead," said Red Cross Volunteer Dick Schmit.
Volunteers are providing information about planning ahead for a flood, and repairing homes from damage.
