Caterpillar Logistics is honoring a local agency for the quality of works done by its participants.
The Caterpillar Excellence Achievement Banner is being awarded to the PARC works division of PARC.
The agency's in–house services occupies more than 30–thousand square feet of production, office, and warehouse space in order to service the needs of area businesses.
Workers specialize in packaging, shrink–wrapping, assembly, direct/bulk mail services, and labeling.
"We go out in the community and place our individuals in employment situations, and it really is a big component of their lives to come in and go to work to build friendships," said Sibylle Lahood, Executive Director PARC.
"They got a lot of staff here and a lot of people here helping all those out and I like to help too," said Billie Jean Rupp, PARC Participant.
PARC has been providing services to individuals with developmental disabilities and their families for more than 55 years.
