Peoria's Public/ Private Bus Systems Team Up

Peoria's public and private bus services are combining their efforts –

The Peoria mass Transit's CityLink and the Peoria Charter Coach Company are making it possible to go from a local bus–stop to all over the country.

Peoria Charter will have buses leaving the City Transit Center four times a day.

Bill Winkler, the President of Peoria Charter Coach, told reporters, "From your doorstep, you can get on a CityLink bus, connect to Peoria Charter Coach, and the world is at your feet."

Cindy Winkler said that as Peoria grows as a metropolitian area, it needs better ground transprot.

Peoria Charter Coach's four–times daily bus to O'Hare and Midway Airports costs 35 dollars one way.

Rates to Joliet and Normal are less.
