Pontiac Mayor Claims DOC, Governor Putting Criminals On The Street

By Tom McIntyre

Pontiac Mayor Scot McCoy is trying to make the case that the slayings of three members of Jennifer Hudson's family can be connected to Governor Blagojevich.

McCoy – who's announced he's not running for re–election –says he's got documentation that the Governor is putting dangerous prisoners on the streets.

Singer Jennifer Hudson's mother, brother and nephew were killed in late October.

William Balfour—Jennifer Hudson's former brother–in–law—has been named a "person of interest" in the case.

Balfour is back in prison after being released on parole after serving six years for high–jacking and attempted murder.

McCoy says he'll release documents Tuesday showing the Department of Corrections has been allowing criminals to remain at large even after their violated their paroles in order to save the state money.

This is 100% accurate, and Blago must be held responsible. This is only the beginning. Once Pontiacs inmates are transferred there WILL be serious incidents because the officers at these institutions are not trained to deal with them. We have several Parolees who violate who are returned to the prison for a week or two then released back to the public.
