Family members say he'd be proud of what former co–workers are doing now.
That's after 37–year old Bernard Foust Jr, better known as BJ, died during what loved ones say was a freak accident.
A Glasford man crashed into a guardrail, which sent his THEN attached boat into the opposite lane where it hit Foust's motorcycle and killed him.
"In Kingston Mines everybody's family down here and you know one person's hurt and everybody's hurt and they really come out and help", said his father Bernard Foust Sr.
B–J's friends and co–workers are drilling, fixing, and finishing his older home for his wife.
A project B–J started but never finished.
His former Co-Worker Steve Linnemann said, "Kinda a tragic accident in the middle of remolding this house and we just try to help and get it done."
Bearing the cold weather, they've worked all day the past few weekends as a tribute to BJ's life full of memories that loved ones can't even count.
"I don't even know how to answer that there's too many", said his siter Cindi Hueser.
Her son Chris Hueser said, "He helped me ride my bike. He helped me ride the go cart that we used to have. He was just a lot of fun."
Family members are also grateful because village workers tore down this tree so volunteer workers could have access to finish off this home.
B–J's co–workers at Phillipi Hagenbuch will continue weekend construction until the house is finished.
The engineering and manufacturing company where he worked donated more than $2,000 dollars in materials for the home.

We just want to sincerely thank Phillipi Haggenbach and all the guys who have given so much time, money, and effort for BJ. We would also like to thank News 25 for airing this story, it was very nice. Although BJ was never one to ask for help, the amount of help he has been given by so many people is incredible and we know how much he would appreciate it and how honored he would be. The outpouring of support from the community, friends, coworkers, family and even strangers has been tremendous.
