The former soccer coach of Metamora High School appears before a Peoria County judge this morning to face sex abuse charges.
During his arraignment, Stephen Chromik entered a not guilty plea to separate felony counts of criminal sexual assault and aggravated criminal sexual abuse.
Authorities claim Chromik engaged in an inappropriate relationship with a female student.
The Peoria County Grand Jury indicted Chromik Tuesday on the charges.
Stephen Chromik coached both boys and girl's soccer while at Metamora...and now lives in now lives in Elk Grove.
Chromik graduated from Bradley in 2005, where he was a member of the soccer team.
