Some District 150 students expecting to attend the new Manual Academy will now heading elsewhere.

District 150's re–assigning dozens of students who did not meet registration guidelines.

The Ninth Grade Academy Principal says 35 students either did not bring physical exams or were not registered at fee day.

Lekeela Yates hoped to get her son enrolled, but she could not get him on the roster.

Manual officials say he was among those students who did not provide the proper information by the deadline.

The reassigned students will either attend Peoria Central or Woodruff High School.
