Today's crazy spring weather is impacting a number of areas. The IHSA 1A and 2A softball semifinals were pushed to Saturday after completing just one game due to three inches of rain falling this afternoon.

Weather to the north impacted IHSA high school baseball and soccer games as well.

Due to the rain, the Peoria Chiefs game for tonight is cancelled and will be made up as part of a doubleheader tomorrow starting at 5:00 p.m.

The Washington Cherry Festival rescheduled their fireworks to tomorrow night at dusk due to the rain.

McLean, Mason, Cass and Menard counties had tornado warnings this afternoon. Logan, DeWitt and Macon Counties were under a Tornado Warning until 5:45 p.m.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect for areas east of the Illinois River until 10:00 p.m.
