Paintball Suspects Excluded From Ceremony

By Eric Shangraw

The students responsible for vandalizing University High School in Normal did not take part in their graduation ceremony.

Illinois State University spokesman Jay Groves says the three seniors who admitted to playing a role in shooting paintballs throughout the building on May 19, also agree to help make restitution.

Groves says the students will still receive their diplomas.

The greasy paint from the prank made floors slippery, causing school administrators to cancel class for a day during clean up.

THESE CHILDREN AND YES I SAY CHILDREN NEED TO GROW UP AND PAY FOR IT ALL. OR HAVE THE PARENTS HELD ACCOUNTABLE FOR CLEAN UP COSTS IF THE CHILD WAS UNDER 18...THEY ARE LUCKY THEY ARE NOT HAVING CHARGES PRESSED AGAINST THEM.
