The US Navy Blue Angels are the featured act April 19th and 20th at the Greater Peoria Regional Airport.
If the weather is nice the air show director says the crowd could exceed 100,000 people.

"In advanced tickets sales last year, I think we sold about 6,000 total ticketsto the event. Those are tickets sold before it even starts. We have surpassed that by 75–percent as of today. We are at almost 12,000 tickets sold already and we are still three weeks from the show," said Prairie Air Show Director, Brett Krause.

The Peoria Pirates football team holds its' season opener Saturday night, April 20th, just after the Air Show winds down.
