Schock Prepares For A Democratic Opponent

By Kelli Watson

State Representative Aaron Schock remains unbeaten in his young political career.

The 26-year-old Schock captured the GOP nomination for the 18th Congressional District with an overwhelming 70% of the vote.

He says now the challenge is to reach out to independent and democratic voters.

He said, "I'm starting today. We're going to work now until November, regardless of whether the Democrats decide to appoint someone and regardless of who they appoint. We're going to have all out ducks in a row and work very hard to get everybody's support on both sides of the aisle."

The big question now is who will be Schock's democratic opponent in the general election.

The party did not put up a candidate for the primary.

Must be a great candidate if a president with a 23% approval rating is backing him. Somebody help us!!
