Preliminary research shows that a compound found in marijuana may be able to stop breast cancer cells that are spreading out of control. The non-toxic compound has been found to stop a gene that researchers think is responsible for allowing cancer cells to spread.

Researchers do not advise patients start smoking marijuana for this effect because they wouldn't be able to get a sufficient amount of the compound.

Since Sunday is the 25th of the month, that means it's time for your buddy check reminder. Do your breast self-exam and remind a buddy to theirs as well.
