Students at one local school and some members of the public paid homage to veterans today.
Manual High School Junior ROTC hosted a ceremony inside the school auditorium this morning. The students honored vets by reading poems, learning their history and performing their drill routine.
Katelyn Wilkinson said, "They gave up their lives for our country, for our freedom, so I think it's really good to honor them."
The students personally recognized several veterans in the audience who joined them for the Veterans Day ceremony.
